EN EM Art Space

EN EM Art Space was born out of the absence of a formal gallery space designed and committed to bringing attention to new, contemporary artists in Sacramento. The artist community already exists. EN EM desires to bring that community into the public eye in way that encourages experimentation and the new. The gallery functions lastly as a conduit through which new collectors can get in touch with up and coming artists—connecting those passionate about producing art with those who are passionate about art.

The gallery is directed by two individuals: Vann Nguyen and Anna Motzer. Both are Sacramento based and utilize their gifts for design and architecture in this gallery setting and on a professional level.

Exhibits showcased at EN EM since inception include:

Gabriel Luis Perez's Reconnoiter
Stephanie Rohlfs's Woo-Hoo-Woo-Hoo-Ti-De
Nathan Cordero's A Once Retired Wardrobe
Coco Hall's Off the Wall
Sugar Rush, our December 2014 group show, which highlighted America's cultural obsession with sugar
Allison Watkins's Reilluminate
Joomi Chung's Swarm and Jose Di Gregorio's i think i'm going blind
Alexis Arnold's light/weight
Off the Grid, our June 2015 group show, which is guest-jurored and curated by Susette Min and highlights artists' use of the grid against institutionalism, structuralism, and hegemony
Anna Valdez's Recollections
